At her 15 month visit Eve imitated the Donald Duck sounds that the pediatrician likes to do for babies. Little did our pediatrician know that Eve lives for animal sounds. Our ever-flattering pediatrician said it was the first time a baby had ever imitated her like that.
To *our* surprise Eve is still above the 90th percentile for height. Still looks like a mini-me to me! But apparently Martha was tall when she was young, and then settled in her petite stature later in life. So who knows where Eve will end up.
Today I took Eve to the park and she made a little boy cry. She walked up to the boy (probably two years old) and stood in front of him with a smile. Then she watched with interest as he cried and clung to his dad's leg. She has very little shyness or fear in her...I guess at some point we'll have to make sure she understands that not everyone and everything is peaches and cream.
