Eve is a chocolate monster. A couple weeks ago I gave her a small chocolate almond and asked her to give it to mommy. She dutifully walked with the almond from the kitchen to the den where Martha was sitting. She extended her hand with the almond towards Martha, then thought better of it and put the almond in her own mouth. The next time we tried the same thing and she made it halfway to Martha before stopping to devour the almond. And then the next time she was already saying "mommy, mommy" when I was getting out the container of almonds, only to immediately eat the almond I asked her to deliver to mommy. I'm not sure what kind of game she thinks this is, but I do know she loves "coc-olate.".
