Sevilla and Lagos

We traveled to Sevilla and Lagos (southern coast of Portugal) last week during the girls' school break. Both were wonderful. Special thanks to my college friend, Randy, and his family for making our Sevilla experience even better. They have been staying in Sevilla for three years (and are just about to head back to their home in Seattle). During our visit Randy introduced me to padel (paddle ball), which was lots of fun. Other highlights for Sevilla: a visit to the Arab baths, a bike ride along the river (including a scary fall by Ella...), playing with Randy's kids and their cousin, and many tapas. In Sevilla we had plenty of energy and saw many of the main sites. In Lagos we were a bit lazy, aside from a sea kayaking adventure, and spent most of the time at the beach.
