snow and Baileys

Eve has started her second year with a flurry of activity. First she had her introduction to snow. Then she made her first trip to a ski resort, Mt. Brighton (not to be confused with Mt. Everest), which is the best use of a landfill ever. While Eve and Martha hung out in the lodge, Elijah made a successful skiing debut (he was a little upset in the photo below because he had just taken some spills, but by the end of the day he was king of the mountain--in his words, it was AWESOME!!!). Then Eve accompanied us to a conference in Atlanta, where she enjoyed the care and company of Oma B (aka Elmo) (thank you again, Elmo!).

Eve is now taking several steps at a time. I still wouldn't call it walking, but it's more advanced than some primates (I'm looking at you, baboons).
