there's something about the spring in the northland...
Spring in Michigan arrives late and doesn't last long. But it sure is beautiful. This year has been the best one we've seen, by far. We're guessing it has to do with the steady mix of rain and mild weather during the past several weeks. Most stunning are the pink crab apple blooms. The photos below don't do them justice...we've never seen anything like them. Maybe that's because our eyes are in color shock after the long gray winter?

Daniel, you and Martha have such a beautiful home. The flowers are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Becca! Just to clarify for those who haven't visited us: our house is not the one with the masses of red tulips that I'm standing in front of in the photo. Maybe some day we'll have a display approaching that...!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a beautiful first spring for Eve. Glad your winter is finally over & all can get out & enjoy. Eve is such a doll-baby. Love those big round eyes!
